My Customer's Avatar

My prototypical customer is a college graduate who is venturing out into the “real world”. This person is ambitious, freshly educated, confident, and full of energy. As a college graduate this individual will dress and act professionally. They will associate themselves with other like-minded people. In the middle of all of this change they will never lose sight of their hobbies and passions. In most cases their hobbies will be an outlet for them to vent off any frustration and stress.

My customer will be driving a car that fits their hobbies. Some may drive a black pick-up truck, a silver SUV, or a blue sedan. The only similarity would be that they range from the 2012 -2016 model. And not a fancy car, but possibly the new $30,000 Teslas coming out soon.

My customers will be heavy on Netflix, because binge watching shows is a past time these days. Once again these shows will depend on their hobbies. Some will watch history shows, cartoons, sports documentaries, etc.

I imagine my customers will be young to mid-age adults who do not have kids. Kids take time to care for so those with kids may not have time to use my app. But it also depends on the age of the kid too so there will be a few who do have children of their own. As for the adopted question, I would say some will have been adopted. I was adopted and it is my idea so why not! I would say the younger adults feel older while the older adults are feeling younger. I believe there is a shift of going from a college lifestyle to the professional work-force that may make people feel older. Then the work experienced user will long for a younger way of life and take on adventure and excitement. Either way my customer is looking to gain fun and leisure through my app.

Many of my customers will be intellectual and many will not be. Some may read books and write poems for fun, to gain knowledge, cater to different ideas or build new ideas for themselves.

After completing my avatar, I found that it does resemble me. My avatar may be cooler looking, but we share similar features. I feel this was intentional, because I will be graduating after this school year. I may find myself moving somewhere for work so I may need to rely of ALike to get me acquainted with my new surroundings.
